Montana Silversmiths jewellery and buckles are easy to take care of. Montana Armor has been applied to each piece to keep it from tarnishing. To keep this protective coating in place use a 100% clean cotton cloth. Start by using the cloth to wipe the piece down. This will remove any impurities that may have gathered from wear. If the item is still showing impurities after fully wiping it down, you may use a mild soap and water. Ensure that you pat the item completely dry.
Using jewellery or silver cleaners can remove the protective coating. Also, soaking in water or not fully rinsing soap off can cause damage to the Montana Armor, resulting in tarnishing.
Try to avoid getting lotion, perfume, hairspray, or make-up on your Montana Silversmiths accessories.
When not being worn ensure your products are kept safely tucked away in a jewellery box or in their blue velvet box.
